About

I became a therapist following a lifetime of work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, countries and experiences. My work and training as a therapist, my earlier career in business, and my lived experience as father, a grandfather and partner have all taught me the value of being able to listen to people from their own unique perspective to help find solutions that work for them. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Our thoughts, feelings, and actions are all deeply connected. When you get caught in negative thinking loops, it changes how you feel and how you show up in your life. In our sessions, we will map out your specific thought cycles. We will pause, step back, and look at those thoughts clearly. Together, we will build practical, everyday tools to help you reframe unhelpful patterns, break through procrastination, and respond to stress with a steady mind. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Fighting off uncomfortable emotions or stressful thoughts often takes a massive toll on your daily energy. ACT is not about eliminating your internal struggles; it is about changing your relationship with them. I will help you build what is called psychological flexibility. Using mindfulness, we will practice letting difficult thoughts exist without letting them call the shots. This frees up your energy so you can focus completely on what truly matters to you: your core values and the actions that bring meaning to your life. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Treatment OCD can feel like a relentless cycle of intrusive thoughts and overwhelming anxiety. It often drives you to look for constant reassurance or perform specific routines just to find a brief moment of relief. We will tackle this loop directly using targeted, evidence-based strategies. I will introduce mindfulness tools to help you anchor yourself in the present moment when intrusive thoughts arrive. Together, we will practice noticing these thoughts with kindness and curiosity, without letting them pull you into old routines or compulsions. Step by step, you will train your brain to handle uncertainty, tolerate distress, and reclaim control over your day.
